Tru Hollywood Supper Club has revived the unique aura and sophistication of old Hollywood. Located at historic 1600 Argyle, the illustrious building has already hosted Hollywood’s most glamorous stars and legendary musicians. Now, Tru Hollywood draws Tinseltown’s newest sophisticates. Enter the club through the grand foyer glistening with quartz wallpaper and you will be transported to a bygone era of hidden Hollywood opulence. Culinary offerings add to the venue’s allure with a superb menu prepared with the creations of an award-winning chef. Tru Hollywood boasts three levels of stunning elegance. Tru’s great room features sparkling diamond walls. Over long, gleaming ebony bars, a veil of crystals rains down from the ceiling and a framed mirror box reveals the seductive silhouette of a dancer. Among lavish furnishings and retro-chic décor, a DJ booth ignites the dance floor and sets the mood for a night’s sensuous adventure. A VIP retreat filled with plush couches and silvery cocktail tables is elevated just enough to promise an all-encompassing view of the venue’s energy.
Opening at Las Palmas and Hollywood Boulevard, Premiere Supperclub is nestled in a neighborhood rich in both theater and nightlife. Premiere designer, Kristofer Keith of Spacecraft, captured the essence of these two different platforms in his concept for the venue.
Keith renovated the space to evoke an interactive atmosphere, with optimal flow and visual stimuli in mind for every inch of the club. Stepping through the front doors, you enter into a large, yet intimate room, bordered by arches, raised seating, and a 30-foot bar.
Opposing staircases lead upstairs to a second level, which overlooks the dance-floor and DJ booth. The upper level boasts an additional, full-service bar, as well as the most exclusive balcony seats in the house. For its fall debut, Premiere's stage is set to suggest the dramatic and romantic Catalonian region of Spain, starring flamenco dancers, matadors, and bull fighters. Walls are draped in lavish crimson velvet curtains, with exposed brick and stucco, dark-stained pine, and wrought-iron accents. Props and tiny details, such as the broken Spanish tiles that embellish the bars and bathrooms, help to further accentuate the rich aesthetic. A prominent chandelier, spanning 12 feet above center stage, softly illuminates the dance floor, giving club-goers their moment in the Limelight.
